Minnie is a Pain in the Ass

Minnie is now back with us. She was on the Island chasing away other cats and getting driven away to be lost in a forest park. Well now she is on the mainland and up to her usual pranks. When she got here she immediately jumped on the counter and we had to kick her ass to the floor. I know she has been back up, the butter was licked and I saw her eating scrambled eggs. Her latest adventure though was getting stuck on the roof. We have a fence that goes around the perimeter of our yard that the squirrels love to go round and round on. Minnie also loves to round and round the fence and jump on anything she can reach like the neighbors shed and now our wood shed roof. She jumped on it and tried to jump up on the neighbors roof but chickened out. My mom, Will and I watched her do all this and then went inside. We left 20-30 minutes later and discovered that Minnie was STILL on the roof. She was stuck. She was too afraid to jump down to the ground and too afraid to jump back onto the fence. What did that mean? I had to climb up on the roof and get her. I wasn't going to call the fire department. So, I grabbed one of my sister-in-laws sandwich boards (she worked for a real estate company and never returned them) and pulled out our huge recycling bin. With my moms help I climbed up on the board, then climbed up on the bin. I tried to get Minnie to jump on the bin, to jump on me, but she would have none of it. I put my hand out to her and she thought it was play time. She starts rolling around the roof loving that I am up there with her. Then, I hear Will crying in the car. Instantly my mood changes. She is no longer my priority. I tell her she has until the count of 10 to get down. She starts licking herself. I grab her by the scruff and drag her across the roof then drop her from the height of the roof. Sorry Minnie, babies are cuter than you now.
